Cole Pfister
2025 BullFighting Champion
From the small town of Homestead, Iowa to his current home in Sulphur, Oklahoma, Cole Pfister has carved out his place in the world of western sports with grit, grind, and guts. A first-generation competitor, Cole grew up on a 15-acre ranch surrounded by 12 horses and a whole lot of hustle.
He started out on bulls, made a run at bareback riding, and then—after back-to-back injuries sidelined him—he found his true calling: bullfighting. “With bullfighting, I had more control. I could use my feet,” says Cole, whose speed and athleticism come from years of high school sports and serious training.
Cole exploded onto the scene in 2023, earning the title of Bullfighter of the Year in his rookie season with the Missouri Rodeo Cowboys Association—voted in by the cowboys themselves. In 2024, he followed it up by dominating both the Bullfighters Tour and the Maverick Tour.
Now, in 2025, Cole has reached the pinnacle—crowned the Bulls, Bands & Barrels Bullfighting Champion.
With heart, horsepower, and unmatched hustle, Cole Pfister isn’t just showing up—he’s rewriting what it means to step in the arena and own it.
