Landan English

2025 Barrel racing Champion

At just 20 years old, Landan English has already built a resume that rivals the veterans—and 2025 marked the next big milestone in her story. The Bossier City, Louisiana native stormed into her rookie season with Bulls, Bands & Barrels and left with the crown: World Champion Barrel Racer.

Landan’s been in the saddle since she was 2 years old, and she’s never looked back. A decorated youth and high school competitor, she’s a two-time Louisiana High School Rodeo State Champion in Pole Bending, a two-time All Around Champion Cowgirl, and a top 10 National High School Finals qualifier in both poles and barrels. In 2022, she also claimed the title of Reserve World Champion in Pole Bending at the National Little Britches Finals.

From 2018 to 2023, she dominated the Deep South Little Britches Rodeo Association, racking up multiple All Around Champion Cowgirl titles. Her haul? 20 saddles, 160 buckles, and more cash than she’s taken the time to count.

In 2024, Landan filled her PRCA permit at the historic Mesquite and Fort Worth Stockyards rodeos aboard her powerhouse 9-year-old Quarter Horse, CD Swingin Chica (“Chica”). She also serves as a barrel racing instructor at the Martha Josey Ranch in Marshall, Texas, where she helps train the next generation of competitors.

Her 2025 BBB campaign was nothing short of dominant—clinching the black and orange Alamo saddle, buckle, and wrestling belt reserved for the best in the game.

Landan English isn’t just winning—she’s leading the charge. And she’s just getting started.
